I met these two Elders randomly on the street. In Mormonism, Elder means Teacher. We had a such a good conversation about life, about experiences, about people and where we might be headed as a race, humanity, social media, kindness. They weren't pushy nor where they imposing any belief systems. They literally only wanted to enhance the day of any stranger they met. To me, that's pretty rare but most of all; it's memorable.
"Coming here, I've learned a lot on living by myself. Some days are good, some days are bad." said the Elder to the right.
-"What's a good day for you, and what's a bad day?"
(Fella to the right): "Well, a bad day would be like yesterday, where people treat us as if we were trash. Like you're invisible. A good day is where you manage to be of service to others, whether it be helping an old lady bring something down from the shelf or anything else."
(Fella to the left): "A good day would be a day like today. Where I talk to you or where we in any way can lead people to leading better and happier lives through Jesus Christ."
